I'm Jennie, owner of Special Edibles. I've been a hobby cake baker and decorator for over 20 years. A talent I inherited from my mom who baked and decorated cakes for over 50 years.
I remember, as a little girl, the first cake I decorated was a cupcake. I piped on the border and even made a sugar bell to go on top. It looked like a tiny wedding cake!
I believe anyone can decorate a cake! All you need to know is the basics, from there it's all practice and exploring new techniques.
What can be more wonderful and rewarding than giving as gifts luscious chocolates you made yourself. Gifts for birthdays, holidays or any occasion! A Special Edibles Instructor will show you the various ways of melting and molding chocolate, making colorful candies or adding flavor and fillings to make your "special edibles".
